French eyewear brand Bollé starts the summer with a new lens technology, accompanied by a broad-based market launch campaign. The lens technology called Volt + is developed using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Bollé’s new design and technology innovation lab based in Lyon, France, together with Hue.Ai, a U.S. company that offers artificial intelligence technologies for optical products. Bollé states the new lens is high contrast, enhances all colors (unlike current high contrast lenses), and improves depth perception without compromising white balance.
To support the Volt + launch, Bollé is introducing a new global digital advertising campaign, called Rediscover Earth. With an Augmented Reality (AR) filter on Instagram, all of the 15 styles with Volt + lens technology can be experienced by anyone with a smartphone. For the AR experience, Bollé is partnering with specialized AR companies M7 Innovations and QReal.
