Slovenian alpinist Luka Lindič is the newest member of the Lowa Pro Team. The accomplished professional climber and husband of German climber Ines Papert has already recorded numerous highlights in his alpine career. Back in 2008, the young climber was awarded the title of “most promising alpine climber” by the Mountaineering Federation of Slovenia. Since then, he has opened a number of difficult routes in China, India, Canada and Europe. He was able to achieve several first ascents, such as the “Lindič-Leclerc Route” on Mt. Tuzo or the route “Psychological Effect” on Mt. Neptuak, both in Canada. In 2014, he was awarded the Piolet d’Or for the first ascent of the Hagshu North Face in India. Lindič and Papert live in Berchtesgaden, Germany.
