Paul Hubner, chief executive of Baffin, the Canadian brand of “polar-proven” outdoor footwear and clothing, is doing it again. He will be leading a 230-kilometer trek across Baffin Island in the Arctic to test a new range of clothing. He will go on the expedition together with his sons Mark, Grent and Ryan. Hubner attracted a lot of media attention four years ago when he skied to the North and South Poles – the first Canadian to do so in the same winter – together with his kids. He says this time he is going to personally test some new polar parkas developed by his company for sale later this year because the jackets he bought and wore on previous expeditions were not breathable enough.
