To ensure that orders for U.K. retailers and consumers continue to arrive faster, easier and without customs formalities, Canadian premium bikewear supplier 7mesh Industries (a. k.a. 7mesh Cycling Apparel) has announced the opening of a new distribution center “for post-Brexit shipping and service.” Working with its international logistics partner, Tigers Global Logistics, 7mesh now ships all U.K. orders from a state-of-the-art facility east of London in Thurrock.
In total, Tigers now manages three 7mesh distribution centers (Seattle/Oregon, Rotterdam/Netherlands and Thurrock/U.K.). Tigers has been working with the bikewear provider since Squamish, British Columbia-based 7mesh launched in 2015. Thanks to Tigers, the Canadian brand was able to work quickly on the post-Brexit transition and set up this warehouse to support the brand’s ongoing U.K. business and future growth. Customers from the U.K. can order from a warehouse in their own country, pay in pounds sterling and not have to pay customs or import fees. According to John Zopfi, 7mesh General Manager EMEA, the U.K. is already an important market for the brand.
