According to reports by Angling International, A Band of Anglers (ABOA) is planning to grow its range of distributors and retailers worldwide. The Florida-based business, which covers all of the continental U.S. and Hawaii, already sells selected ABOA lures in Europe via its exclusive distributor, Ultimate Fishing, and is now targeting new distributors and retailers elsewhere in the world, based on the importance of the fishing tackle business in the different countries.
The company was created four years ago by Patrick Sébile, the world-famous angler and award-winning designer of fishing lures, rods, reels and other fishing gear. Sébile has also been a fishing guide and captain for nearly 20 years and has written seven books as well as over 800 articles. ABOA offers a wide range of soft and hard lures from its five owned brands – Hyperlastics, Engage, Ocean Born, Spooltek, and Up ‘n’ Down.
