Berghaus has teamed up with a former Haglöfs manager as a sales agent for the Benelux countries. Nico Kruis was formerly area manager for Haglöfs in Central Europe but after several management changes at the Swedish outdoor company last year his assignment was narrowed to the Benelux countries. That job was taken over in June by Mike Pepping, who has been with Haglöfs for several years. Berghaus has formally struck its partnership with Grumblesports, the company established by Kruis. He is working with Roland Keijzer, who comes from the experience-gift industry and will be focusing on sales of the Think Pink brand, while Kruis will handle Haglöfs. Berghaus has been selling directly to retailers in the Benelux countries since June 2014, after the end of an agreement with Fros International, which sells brands including Kjus, Munich and Aigle. The partnership with Grumblesports is supervised by Angela Dugdale, international business development manager at Berghaus.
