British outdoor brand Berghaus, a Pentland Brands business, has appointed Dicaltex Internacional as distributor for Iberia and Out Lab Distribution as sales agency for Italy. Both companies are already representing other Pentland companies, including Endura, Ellesse and Speedo, and will focus on building Berghaus sales through specialist outdoor retail channels as part of the brand’s wider international business strategy.
Based in Elche in the south east of Spain, Dicaltex Internacional has taken over as the exclusive distribution partner for Berghaus from autumn/winter 2020, across the entire Iberian Peninsula – Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar. Dicaltex will reintroduce Berghaus to the region’s specialist outdoor retailers, along with other channels in the company’s network.
Out Lab Distribution is based in Milan and will be the exclusive sales agency for Berghaus in Italy, starting by selling in the autumn/winter 2021 season. Out Lab has a well-established network of sports and outdoor customers and will develop Berghaus’ specialist business in the market.
The new distribution partners will work closely with the Berghaus team within the Pentland Brands EMEA business development operation.
