U.S. outdoor specialist Marmot is starting a new distribution partnership for Switzerland with Fritschi Swiss Bindings. From Oct. 1, Fritschi will be responsible for all sales activities of the Californian brand founded in 1974, from key account management and new customer acquisition to training and education. The liaison offers many mutual benefits in sales, marketing and communication. Marmot’s change from a distributor to an agency, which was already initiated in autumn 2019, has thus also been completed. From Oct. 1, Oliver Feuz, sales manager at Fritschi, will also be responsible for the sales management of Marmot, Monika Schaller for customer service. The company will move into a new showroom in Zurich with its brand portfolio comprising Marmot, Fritschi and Chillaz in November.
