Jim Jin, general manager of Beijing Jintiancheng Finery and newly appointed distributor of Haglöfs in China, is very pleased about the Swedish brand's premiere with Sanfo, the leading specialty chain in the country. Jin said that no other brand has ever been as successful as Haglöfs with its marketing entry. In its first two weeks with a shop-in-shop at Sanfo, Haglöfs made a turnover of RMB 300,000 (€36,000-$47,622) on just 12 square meters that opened on Jan. 5. Currently, Haglöfs is represented in five department stores with an average surface of 80 square meters and plans to have its first flagship store in the country this spring. In Hong Kong, Haglöfs continues to be distributed by Hill Rock, the leading local wholesaler and retailer.
