Regatta Group, the largest outdoor group in the U.K., is about to open a new 400,000-square-foot warehouse in Ellesmere Port. This will nearly double the warehousing capacity of the group, which owns the brands Regatta, Craghoppers, Dare2b, Regatta Professional and Hawkshead. As the company expands globally, it considers the enlarged space as a necessary part of its logistics strategy. Exports now make up about 40 percent of Regatta Group's revenues, shipping to more than 44 countries and with sales offices throughout Europe and in Israel. This year has marked its expansion into Australia and the U.S. with Craghoppers and its Bear Grylls brand. Regatta Group has been growing at a rate of 20 percent every year. The new warehouse should be operational this November.
