Sea to Summit, the Australian brand of outdoor accessories, is teaming up with the Mountain Boot Company (MBC) for distribution in the U.K., starting in July with the orders for next spring. MBC is a leading outdoor distributor in the U.K., with brands such as Scarpa, Deuter and Grivel. Ireland is to be covered by Peterson of Dublin. The deal puts an end to an eight-year partnership for the U.K. and Ireland with Burton McCall, which sells a number of outdoor brands such as Jetboil, Camelbak, Bridgedale and many more. MBC's managing director, Steve Roberts, said the company wanted to develop Sea to Summit's business in the outdoor market, while branching out into the travel and watersports markets. Burton McCall is to continue delivering fall orders and to service all in-season orders for Sea to Summit through to the end of the year.
