As of July 1, Vaude will end its 15-year cooperation with Völkl Switzerland (distribution of mountain sports and Pack’n’Bags) and Uvex Switzerland (bike products) and take over direct distribution of its three business units. The Swiss business will be handled by a new Swiss subsidiary, centrally managed from the company’s headquarters in Tettnang, Germany, and represented by the company’s own sales team in Switzerland. The showroom in Zurich and the repair service will continue to operate seamlessly. According to the company, the decision to stop working with Völkl and Uvex Switzerland is a result of strategic, brand and sales policy considerations.
