A total of six products were honored on Feb. 1 with the Scandinavian Outdoor Award (SOA) for the autumn/winter 2021/22 season. The overall winner is a fully circular anorak with a fully circular business model by Bergans of Norway. Last year, Bergans and Spinnova already won the Scandinavian Outdoor Sustainability Award for their Collection of Tomorrow, which is also home to this year’s new anorak. The collection also managed to win the ISPO Sustainability Achievement Award at ISPO Munich 2020. This year, the SOA Sustainability Award goes to Icebug.

The Scandinavian Outdoor Award was established in 2005. It is organized by the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) and aims to support product and design innovation and promote new Scandinavian outdoor products. The jury, consisting of outdoor journalists and retailers, evaluates the criteria of design, innovation, functionality, quality and sustainability.
